Grit is a collection where shiny and rough surfaces are combined. The collection is inspired by natural elements of very different qualities. Diamonds and gravel form the basis for the design. The effect is visible when the contrast in the materials are made.

When the stones are cast and transformed into silver, the diamonds and the gravel become fused, making it impossible to see which was which originally. Both elements attain the same value through this process.

Anne Hasla designed the collection. She created a collection were she used both diamonds and gravel for the design. The masters were created in out workshop in Setesdal, and when the finished product was ready, one could not see what had initially been diamond and what had been gravel.
