Hematite silver earstuds

This collection is a further development of our fascination for rocks and crystals. Rocks and crystals are great sources of inspiration because of Geology’s aesthetic appeal and variation in form.
As a result of this inspiration natural elements are copied and made into shapes in silver that make beautiful jewelry.
The designer aims to stay close to the mineral’s original expression, and to maintain the strong and random characteristics of rocks and crystals. In the Rocks collection the jewelry is based on the mineral pyrite and hematite, which forms golden, cubic crystals.
Because its colour resembles gold, pyrite is called Fool’s Gold. Pyrite is also a common mineral in Norway.
