Venus, Renaissance hoops peridot

Anne Hasla designed the Venus collection in 2021, and the inspiration for the series is The Renaissance painting Birth of Venus. Sandro Botticelli painted the picture in 1485, and it shows the goddess Venus that is born out of the sea foam as a full-grown woman. The motif was new and unique for its time. Venus is an important figure and a goddess of love, happiness, nature, fertility, and victory.

The pieces consist of small, neat shapes mixed with more extensive and heavier jewelry elements. For instance, we have chunky chains and delicate petite necklaces. There are solid hoops and thin, small rings. Also, we have combined rocks with smooth surfaces.
